75. Remontti ja kuvia kämpästä

Tänään herättiin vähän kahdeksan jälkeen ovikellon soittoon. Meille tultiin vaihtamaan ulko-ovia. Hirvee pauke päällä. Meksikolaiset paiskoi hommia ja teki hirveetä sotkua. Lähettiin sitten kahdentoista jälkeen pois. Käytiin syömässä kiinalaisessa ja ostamassa Santulle CK-pikeepaitoja yms. Ja tietysti käytiin Gold Stone Creameryssä jäätelöllä. Huh huh, oltiin eilen siivottu ja kämpässä oli nyt sitten sellanen pölykerros joka paikassa että kyllä pikkusen raivostutti.... Miulle tuli migreeni kun tultiin kotiin (no vähemmästäki) ja Santtu tykkäs hyvää kun annoin sille sängyn pohjalta hernepussipäässä ohjeita (että se varmasti muistaa imuroida nojatuolin myös). =) Kyllähän ne meksikolaiset tässä vähän siivoili -harjalla lakaisivat vähän tätä kokolattiamattoa. Eri näppärää. No nyt on sitten valkoset ulko-ovet. En tajua miksei ne ees yrittäny millään suojata asunnon pölyyntymistä...eikä ne tietty puhunu yhtään englantia. Santtu koitti kysyä, että laittaako ne vanhat lukot paikalleen vai miten ni se sai vastaukseks että "nuppi ei oo lukko".

Aikasemmin meillä oli sillon ongelmaa tän asunnon lämmittämisen kanssa. No nyt ei sitten saada ilmastointia toimimaan. Käytiin eilen sanomassa huoltomiehelle. Sen piti eilen tulla, mutta kyllähän sen ties ettei se kerkee. Sen pitäis tulla maanantaina. Vessan käsienpesuallas ei myöskään vedä. Sitäkin sen piti kattoa. Ei olla uskallettu kaataa sinne mitään kodin putkimiestä kun se on maalattu allas eikä siinä mitään pinnoitetta ole.

Meinasin ihan unohtaa kertoa, että meille vaihdettiin tossa Teemun ja Terhin täällä kyläillessä ikkunat. Ei menny sekään ihan putkeen. Koska meidän piti kirjoittaa koulutehtävään juttu huonosta palvelukokemuksesta niin kirjoitin ikkunoiden vaihdosta. Jos kiinnostaa lukea, että miten se sujui niin tässä on tiivistelmä koulutehtävästäni englanniksi. Leikkasin pois kaikki teoriaosuudet yms. ja jätin jäljelle vain varsinaisen tarinan:

The windows in our apartment were single pane doors and quite old. Our apartment is right next to the freeway 57 so I was happy to get the new dual pane windows. The new windows were promised to keep the noise down and also help to maintain desired temperature inside the apartment. We were notified beforehand about changing the windows and that an outsider construction company was hired to do the job.

The only problem was that the first notification told that the windows would be replaced starting on Tuesday 1/29 through Wednesday 1/30. The second notification told that the job would be done starting on Wednesday 1/30 through Thursday 1/31

We were required to move the furniture away from windows to allow more space for the employees to do their job. We moved the furniture in the morning on Tuesday 1/29 and waited for the construction workers to show up. At that point we didn’t really know anymore when the job would begin. At noon my boyfriend went to ask from the workers of construction company when the work will begin. They told us that our windows will be changed in the beginning of the next week. I wasn’t very happy about that, because the information on the notification was false. At the time our friends were visiting us from Finland so we had one extra bed and their luggage in the apartment. Moving the furniture away from the windows made the space even smaller.

In the afternoon or in the evening of the same day we received third notification. In it read that the process would start on Thursday 1/31 and end on Friday 2/1. Now we didn’t know when the job would be done because the management told us one thing and workers another.

On a Thursday when we arrived home from school the employees of construction company told us that our apartment would be the next. The employees of the construction company worked really fast and were really nice. Anyway, what they achieved with speed they lacked in the carefulness. Windows had white frames which were partly black after installing because the employees hit the frames to walls while carrying frames to our apartment. The employees told that their boss is paid based on the number of installed windows per day and their salary depends on what their boss earns.

One of the employees also broke one of the frames by stepping on it. At that point the frame was already installed so they left it to its place and didn’t repair it even tough we mentioned about it and they promised to repair it on the next day. On a Friday they had to do the trim to inside and we weren’t home when they did it. They had promised to clean up afterwards, but they didn’t clean up very well.

Sellasta...eikä tää rakentamisen taso täällä edelleenkään päätä huimaa. En oo pahemmin mein asunnosta kuvia laittanu ni tässä on nyt jotain. Keittiössä ei sitten oo mitään kivitasoja vaan tasot on oikeesti maalattu.

Hassua muuten, niinkun kuvasta näkyy, seinässä on tyhjä tila. En tiedä miks, sillä mikro on toisella puolella. No jokatapauksessa tuohon sais kuivaustelineen astioille, mut täällä ei oo missään vissiin kuivauskaappeja.

Kirjoituspöytä makuuhuoneessa.

Vähän on ankeen näkönen toi mein futonipatja lattialla. Siinä on nyt tähän asti koisittu. :oP Se on niin kova, että on varmaan vaikeuksia tottua oikeeseen sänkyyn. =)

Käsienpesupaikka vessan ja makuuhuoneen välissä. Huomatkaa, että tossa altaan alapuolella lattia on kokolattiamattoa. Mikähän järki tässä on...

Varsinainen vessa on niin pieni, että siitä oli vähän vaikee ottaa kuvaa. :)
